Bridal gown consultations with our qualified team are an hour long.
We recommend having your wedding date and venue booked before you begin your search for a dress. Not only is it important to have your date and location booked so you are able to imagine the overall look, but it also helps to understand timing and when your dress will need to be ready.
All of our gowns are hand made in our Adelaide studio using the finest imported couture textiles from around the world. Some fabrics are produced on request and need to be ordered in advance. Sometimes we will need to source a particular fabric and this also takes time. Our couture service has limited availability and often fitting times are booked out six months in advance.
We recommend shopping for your wedding dress at least 9-12 months in advance. Please inquire if your wedding date is close so we can better assist you, we do our best to ensure we can make all our brides’ wedding dress dreams come true.
Our consultations are free of charge.
Your consultation involves a one-on-one full styling session with our qualified stylists, who will explain the various silhouettes and will help you understand the best shape and style to fit your body, style and wedding. You will also discover our large range of fabrics and styling options.
If you have any inspirational images of gowns or your wedding day vision, these are very helpful but not essential.
We recommend that you wear nude underwear and bring along any shape-wear to your appointment. Most of our gowns don’t require a bra however, if wearing a strapless bra will make you feel more at ease please bring this along to your consultation. If you have shoes, please bring them along as well. These are not a requirement though, as we have standing platforms for you to stand on.
Most importantly bring an open mind and get ready to have fun as we take the best care of you and help you find your dream dress.
We believe that your fitting should be a relaxed and intimate occasion. We recommend you bring no more than 3 guests with you. Choose your nearest and dearest, perhaps a trusted family member and or a close friend. Too many opinions can be confusing and overwhelming for the bride.
Once we have created your dream gown then you can bring your entourage in to reveal to them the dress at one of your fittings.
We can do rush orders depending on the timeframe and availability of the workroom. We always try to accommodate, so please feel free to discuss with a member of the team to understand your options.
Our off the rack styles range from a size 4 AU to size 16 AU. We can then custom make to your specific measurements.

We will contact you once we are ready to measure you if you are having a custom made gown. This will depend on availability of the workroom, fabric and also your availability.
Our workroom is open for fittings between Tuesday and Friday. First appointment at 10:30 and last appointment at 4:00pm
This will depend on your dress. For a custom made gown, consider at least 4-6 fittings, with the last fitting occurring the week of your wedding in which you will take home your dress.
This is not a problem. Your final wedding dress fitting is the week of your wedding, where we will make the final adjustments and tailor your gown to your figure.
Please bring your shoes with you to your third fitting.
We accept the following forms of payment; Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Cash. We require 50% non-refundable payment upon signing of your bridal contract, with the remaining 50% due upon pickup of your dress. We are flexible with payment arrangements if that is more suitable.
There are no refunds and/or cancellations on purchases. The fabric orders are placed once a bride pays the deposit and receives a summary of her order and the workroom immediately begins the process. Therefore, unfortunately we are unable to accept returns and/or offer refunds/cancellations in any capacity no matter what occurs post purchase and signature of the wedding dress contract.
We source our fabric and laces from all over the world. We work with a wide range of silks and laces from France, Italy and Japan.
You will pick up your gown the week of the wedding so we can allow for last minute adjustments.
Please contact the team for washing instructions specific to your bridal gown or for recommendations of where to send your gown.
Proper storage of wedding gowns is very important to ensure that the original appearance of the gown is preserved and that damage is prevented. It is important to select a storage area that is cool, dark, dry and free from heat, moisture and insects.
We will supply all brides with a garment bag. Please ensure you keep your gown in this bag before and after the wedding for preservation. We suggest having your gown dry-cleaned prior to storage as watermarks and perspiration can yellow over time. We will be more than happy to point you in the right direction of our recommended dry cleaners.
Yes, you can request changes to your gown once the process begins. It will of course depend on the changes requested. Some things cannot be changed, such as shape of gown and main fabric. We are happy to discuss this further. There may be an extra charge, depending on the work involved.
Custom made gowns will be fitted to your exact measurements and you won’t pick the dress up until the week of the wedding so the fit should be perfect. Off the rack gowns will be altered to fit you and all modifications will be made as discussed in the first consultation. These alterations will all be included in the quote at your first consultation.
We often make gowns for women that live overseas or interstate, it is possible provided that we have plenty of time and you intend to visit Adelaide a couple of times in the lead up to your wedding.
